Christmas Day 2015

Even though we are still in the middle of recovering from the stomach flu were made the best of our Christmas celebration. We woke the kiddos up and they were super excited that it was FINALLY Christmas Day!

As tradition, we started with the stockings.

We then moved on to the bigger presents!

We later let the kiddos enjoy some hot cocoa!

We relaxed the rest of the day and watched movies and rested! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We have been sick and our Christmas has not been the usual. We usually get all dolled up for the Christmas Eve service and have a yummy Christmas Eve dinner, but with the stomach flu keeping us down we were not able to do our normal traditions, which was really sad.

I’m glad Jason picked up a big supply of paper towels as we were about out and with this illness.

Even though we all (except Felicity) were sick with the stomach flu I decided that we should at least let the kids do their normal tradition of opening their Christmas Eve present. They got a couple of books, slippers, and a new ornament.

The presents are all wrapped and tucked under the tree and the stockings are hung, we are ready for Christmas Day!

This Christmas has been really different so far, but I’m trying to not let this illness get us down. Hope everyone is having a healthy and Merry Christmas!
